Rachad El Jisr was born in London and lived in Lebanon, Italy, and France before coming to Romania. Studied Architecture in Florence and Film Making in Paris. A true cosmopolitan, he speaks five languages and travels a lot. Developed a sense of design and a photographic culture from a young age. Then he decided he would like to become an art director. While studying architecture discovered he wants to become a film maker and "tell stories". Came to Romania "to make a fortune in two years" and then go back and make movies... Twelve years later he is still based in Romania, this time doing what he likes most: photography, design, art direction and publishing, both print and online. Founded together with Bill Avery Business Media Group, publisher of quality magazines as BusinessWeek (Romanian Edition), Business Review, Biz, Campaign and Stuff. In 2000, he founded iMedia, an internet media company that he successfully exited in October 2007, leaving three Romanian market leaders in their own segments (www.eva.ro and www.cinemagia.ro and www.automarket.ro). Still dreams to become an art director and a super photographer for Vogue and then move on and make a few movies and win an Oscar...:)

Rachad El Jisr is currently working on several internet Start-Ups, for the local Romanian market as well as for the European market.
